A unique chalet in the foothills of the Tatra Mountains
Are you looking for a beautiful place close to the Tatras? Would you like to avoid crowds, traffic and concrete? Are you looking for a wide variety of mountain adventure? Or perhaps, you would fancy to visit the nearby Zakopane - for some sightseeing, restaurants and the best coffee in Podhale?
There are mountain walking / ski touring tracks that start just in front of our chalet, but the most famous tracks are 7 km away in Dolina Chochołowska, or Dolina Kościeliska 8 km away. Chochołowskie Saunarium and Spa - the biggest and beautiful terms in Poland are just 4,5 km away. Witów-ski for winter fun is 1,6 km away. We also recommend spectacular cycling tracks “Szlak Wokół Tatr”, that starts in Chochołów 4,9 km from the chalet. Zakopane is 15 km from Kangurówka.
Kangurówka can host up to 5 people plus one baby in the cot.
We offer:
- Kangurówka chalet exclusively for you
- The chalet is 55 sq meters: two bedrooms, lounge with kitchen and fireplace, bathroom, workplace.
- In the bedroom upstairs there is a large bed for 2 people, in the other bedroom there is bed for 1 person, downstairs there is a sofa-bed for 2 people plus additional mattress for sleeping comfort.
- All beds are equipped with comfortable, professional mattresses, hotel quality linen, we supply towels.
- Fully equipped kitchen: oven, induction stove, dishwasher, toaster and utensils for cooking.
- Washing machine, clothes drying lines, iron and ironing board.
- Car parking space
- Fireplace timber plus timber for a campfire
- Internet and Smart TV
- Workplace with a mountain view
- On request: baby bath, cot, feeding chair, kids toilet seat
- Toys, kids books, puzzle and games
- Terrace, spacious garden and picnic space
- Indoor fireplace, outdoor BBQ area, fire pit (timber supplied).

About us
Agnieszka is a freelance reporter, journalist, she loves books. Anthony is a very keen snowboarder and likes building houses big and small. Ed's passion is MTB bike and skiing. We are Polish-Australian family, whose dream was to live in the mountains. So one day we went to look for our place, we travelled far where roads end. With the help of local highlanders we built Kangurówka. We loved to sit in the evenings on the tarrace and listen to the hum of the Czarny Dunajec river. When the Moon was full we admired the white glow over the mountains. In the mornings we used to go straight ahead, through the fields and medows towards Gubałówka forest and we always thought "How the world is beautiful"

How to get to Kangurówka
You don’t need to use snow chains
(but we recommend winter tyres).
We are located in Dzianisz, locals call it “Dzianisz Zagrody”. Between “Osada Dzianisz N 54” and Dzianisz 54 E.
